User Experience Designer 

Central Digital Publishing, LLC provides online reference material, interactive search tools, and online games. We’re looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team that can work independently and can lead the effort to overhaul an established but dated web site. We offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and are located in downtown St Petersburg, Florida. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform audit of existing site design, user flow, and usability and make recommendations
  • Define interaction models, creating user flows, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes
  • Test working HTML-CSS-JavaScript prototypes from approved mockups
  • Define corporate branding; style guides; design patterns and other requirements
  • Communicate and collaborate with other team members

Required Skills and Experience

  • Advanced understanding of interaction design, designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation for mobile
  • Familiarly with funneling and conversions 
  • Mid to Senior level experience 
  • Effectively conceptualize and communicate UI/UX ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding Responsive Web Design
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus 
  • Cross-browser compatibility: experience with browser developer tools
